The River Chess has suffered many issues resulting from the Chesham Sewage Treatment Works, going as far back as 1889. These problems continue today.

Our fourth public meeting, held on the 27th October, had a good turn out at Blackwell Farm (Chesham), with a mix of landowners, people who work on the river and interested residents finding out about the RCA's recent activities.

The RCA has formally responded to Chiltern District Council's public consultation on their Draft Core Strategy. Part of CDC's Local Development Framework, the Core Strategy sets out how the central-government set target of 145 new houses in the district until 2026 will be achieved.
