Daily sewage releases into the river could continue into May, but work is underway to tackle groundwater infiltration into Chesham's sewers which is big contributor to this problem.

Sustainable Chesham are hosting an online Community Assembly on the 2nd March to discuss the many issues surrounding water in Chesham - including flooding, drought, pollution and water use, and to look at potential solutions to the many problems faced by our water environment. Our Chairman, Paul Jennings, will be participating, along with Allen Beechey from the Chilterns Chalk Streams Project.
