A New Way to Explore the Chess
Jan 25, 2021
A new, comprehensive web site has been created about the River Chess. In a project headed up by Queen Mary University of London, a story map has been created all about the River Chess. You can view it here: https://tinyurl.com/river-chess
At the RCA, we were delighted to contribute to this web site which provides an overview of the geography and ecology of the river, as well as how people use the river as a resource. There is lots of information about the threats to the Chess, such as pollution, abstraction and climate change. There are also real time river flow and rainfall graphs and information on how you can help the Chess as a citizen scientist.
The story map has user surveys and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
