The government's Water White Paper is planned for the summer of 2011 and is intended to focus on maintaining water supplies, keeping bills affordable and reducing regulation. The River Chess Association is keen that environmental issues relating to the water industry, including over-abstraction and untreated sewage releases, are considered in the White Paper.
You can let DEFRA know your views, by completing a short survey to tell them that the state of the Chess matters to you. The survey deadline is the 30th November 2010.
